Each study must be scrutinized for validity
and motives.
The if one uses studies, they need to go to
the trouble to read all they can find on the subject.
Any article funded by a person/firm that will profit
from it are to be questioned.
The Vioxx trial had testimony about the training
of sales reps that was significient.
For a short tme, I worked for a fellow that added to his income
by writing biased articles.
There is now a lot of noise about many drugs that may emerge as a
sorry picture. Usually the result of this is a reaction that many
good drugs cannot get approved while people die.
