I love the advantages of breastfeeding!! Asher hasn't been sick but
just once since i breastfed. He got my immunity the first 3 months of
his life through breastmilk. On another plus side of breastfeeding it
helped me lose over 40 pounds!! It's great!! Even though i had to
supplement i still breastfed. Asher did get tired of having to work
for it though (he's a very hungry baby) LOL He got used to bottles
and i wasn't producing much milk so i gave up so to speak. He sort of
weaned himself too. I guess i wasn't producing much. I was still
pumping too!! I guess lovely PCOS helped or my prolactin levels are
low i dont know which. But it's true Cindi alot of people they would
rather formula feed because it's more convenient. But either way they
are getting good nutrition and im envious of people that can
breastfeed for over a year. I would have loved to have been one of
those. Its also good to have a good sup****t person or lactation
consultant too which my hospital used to be good about following up
withyou when you got home but they dont do that anymore. It's kind of
like they aren't advocating it as much i dont know?? But either way
Asher was gaining weight and he's a happy healthy baby now. Like you
say i like both!! :)
