I think the reason the IVF thing bit me the wrong way was this statement -
-
"she wouldn't have to deal with the stress of trying to get pregnant," the
source tells Us. "She could just knock it out."
granted that might be a complete or partial or correct statement since it
is
from well placed insider. But, if that is a correct *****sment it was the
dealing with the stress of trying to get pregnant as if IVF is not
stressful. I guess if you aren't looking at IVF as the only way you can
give
birth to a child then maybe it isn't stressful. I never had to face IVF
and
I know that we never reached that level of fighting infertility but
looking
at my friends who every one of us have sat waiting and praying and hoping
that and IVF worked makes me just hate for it to be ****trayed as a quick
way
to getting pregnant.so you don't have to try for a couple of months.
And Mary, those who just pop up and announce "oh, we need to get pregnant
this month so that I can lose my baby weight to fit into my dress for 'so
and so's' wedding in a year." I smile and sup****t them, but inside I admit
I
get sad and envious. I can think of those innocent years when we first got
married where I thought I could plan when we would get pregnant and I'd
stop
my BCPs so "poof" I'd succeed. Grrrrrrrrr why couldn't it always work like
that?
