Re: refusing afternoon nap

I don't agree with that rule - actually I've never heard of it before. All 
children are different, and many can keep their naps until school age, 
although duration drop to 1/2 hr to 1 hr. All kids need quiet time even to

school age... actually, I rephrase... all parents need quiet time!
My siblings and I kept our nap until school age. Many do. The less sleep a

kid gets the more they seem as if they don't need it.
There's no way I'll be dropping DD's sleep at 2. And I'll be insisting on 
some quiet time until school age!
