Whenever we have an ant issue (at least once every few years), I always use
spray on the entire lenght of the ant pathway. I try to find out where
they
are coming from, and spray there too. Then, when they are all dead, I go
over the whole area with Windex really well, and clean it all up. Once I
started this method, the ants tend to stay away, whereas before, they
would
keep coming back and using the same scent trail. Windex alone seems to
work
okay, but they would come back sooner, but if I use ant spray, they don't
come back that year.
I've also heard that ants don't like cinnamin, so you can try sprinkling
that across the doorway where they are getting in, after you Windex the
trail and clean up the ants, and see if that helps.
Good luck.
