Ind. Doctor stripped of medical license

INDIANAPOLIS - A doctor accused of improperly writing drug
prescriptions and having *** with his patients was stripped of his
medical license Thursday.
The Indiana Medical Licensing Board voted 6-0 to revoke Dr. Elmer
Manalo's license for seven years following a two-day hearing.
Manalo's license was suspended last September after Drug Enforcement
Agency agents and police officers searched the cardiologist's offices
in Greensburg and ***berland, a town in eastern Marion County.
Investigators say Manalo wrote prescriptions for pain killers in
exchange for money and *** from patients.
